Belief is Action

From the beginning of the Gospel of John one is called to believe [John 1:7]. Further in the book of John we find: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. ~John 20:31. No other Gospel accentuates belief like John.

To believe and forms of that word are found throughout his writings. The Greek verb John uses for belief, pisteuo is found in 46 verses of his Gospel. The use of belief as a verb shouldn't be seen as a coincidence ... it shows that faith is an action! Belief moves.
