Why do the churches of the world want to ignore the word of God? He gives us all we need to know. If they turn to the word of God then they have to turn away from the fund raisers, from the committees and all the other political and worldly actions in the church. Instead of glorifying the building and the congregation they would be forced to glorify God.

The richest church is the one that cares for the poor of its community.

The churches today have diet, diet, diet on their mind. They have dieting prayers. Yes, dieting prayer ... too much takes too much time ... stay lean! That's the satanic plan! The Lord says, "If My people who are called by My Name shall humble themselves and pray ....!" But the churches will hold seminars and such about weight control, about how to do this and that; where is prayer? Prayer changes all things; ALL THINGS. That includes any need you may have. Why won't the churches stay open for prayer? Forget the socializing ... get in prayer. Change everything around you!

Samuel could not change the mind of God when Saul got out of line ... Jesus could not change the mind of God when He offered the cup back. Why do church folk want to change the mind of God to be less than Holy?
